This Yo-Yo is intricately carved from a solid piece of amber. The person who is attuned to this Yo-Yo is aware of its general location (within 30ft) as long as both the person who is attuned and the Yo-Yo are on the same plane of existence. The Yo-Yo is a sentient object as it has been imbued with the soul of a ten year-old child. The Yo-Yo is neutral good and the person who is attuned to it can converse with the soul of the child which imbues the object. If placed on the ground the Yo-Yo will roll along the ground on its own, following the person that it is attuned to (at a speed of 30ft per round).
While using this Yo-Yo, you can use an action to determine the location of an object or being. When using the Yo-Yo in this way, it is placed on the ground and it will try to locate the target. The usefulness of the Yo-Yo is determined based on your/the child's familiarity of the target. You will be aware once the Yo-Yo has either located the target or has run into some type of obstacle that prevents it from searching any further. At that point the Yo-Yo will try to make its way back to you unless it is physically unable to do so. Consult the table below to determine what occurs when using the Yo-Yo to locate an object/being. The Yo-Yo has 4 charges and regains 1d4 daily.
