A misfire can be the difference between life and death. Though you can't prevent one from happening, you can certainly prevent it from taking you out of combat. This spring-loaded mechanism activates in response to overpressurization in the breech of a firearm, preventing a disastrous weapons failure.  Make sure to bring a few of these with you gunner.

This specialty mod is inserted into the breech of a firearm. When the weapon misfires the rebounder safely ejects the spent materials and the weapon doesn't misfire. The rebounder is destroyed in the process.
