Weapon (greatsword), artifact (requires attunement by a snakefolk chosen by Time)

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
When you make an attack with this sword, you will also deal radiant damage equal to your proficiency bonus, which can be doubled upon rolling a critical hit.

When the attuned wielder reaches level 5,  the sword can be used to make a Trip Attack, where you can attempt to knock a target down if a creature sized Large or smaller fails a DC (8 + Strength modifier + Proficiency modifer) Strength check. This ability can be used an amount of times equal to half your Strength modifier, rounded up, minimum of one, per long rest.

When the attuned wielder reaches level 10, as a bonus action you can use the divine power of time to deal extra damage for 1 minute. When you activate this effect, you can add 1d8 + half your proficiency bonus, rounded up, radiant damage to each of your attacks. This ability can be used twice per long rest.

When the attuned wielder reaches level 15, the sword can serve a critical hit on a 19 or 20.

When the attuned wielder reaches level 20, you have a +3 bonus to attack made with this weapon, but not damage rolls, and all damage distributed with this sword is counted as magical damage, rather than physical damage.

The Timebound Blade is Sentient and has an Intelligence score of 12, a Wisdom score of 12, and a Charisma score of 10. The sword is capable of speaking telepathically with whoever is attuned to it, but cannot speak to anyone else. The blade will be able to communicate telepathically with the attuned wielder from any distance as long as they are on the same plane. The sword also has normal hearing and normal vision out to 30 feet. The Timebound Blade is aligned Lawful Neutral.

The sword was created to fulfill the duty of Time's chosen and tends to align with Amaunator's wishes, as he is the Keeper of Time. Through having a relationship with its wielder, the sword is willing to stray from the deity's ideals in favor of protecting the wielder, possibly changing its alignment in the future. If the sword disagrees with the wielder in a conflict of interest, it will suppress the radiant damage until the conflict is resolved.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, snakefolk chosen by Time, Damage, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
