While wearing this belt, your Strength score changes to 21. The item has no effect on you if your Strength without the belt is equal to or greater than 21.
I have this belt in a campaign I'm in , I don't have it attuned on my character yet. But I wanted to see what would happen if it did on the character sheet. I attuned it and my strength didn't go up to 21 (The strength on my character is 16). I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or it may be broken. Any help please?
Why can't the developers put the weight and cost of magical items on the description. We all know you can homebrew costs or a bard can cut a better deal but just put the base average on there instead of -- dashes. Makes me question why I'm paying for a subscription.

having the same issue with the Belt of Fire Giant Strength for my character!
It does not do anything untill your charcter is attuned to it and added to the atunement slot, then the strength will be increased
You need to use the attunement option
Somebody explain why the Ioun Stone of Strenght is very rare (+2 strenght while active, up to 20) while this item (strenght score set to 21) is rare?
18
Has to be attuned and equipped. Also, any object that may use the same location, ie. another belt of some kind, could be causing an issue.
Because the stone is a flat +2 and doesnt use an attunement slot. The stone can be destroyed, as it has ac 24, 10 wounds and resistance to all damage.
so...How much....this item is like...something you CAN find, even if it's rare. Let's put a real cost on it.... Call me Candy Man
You can buy meals for copper, houses for silver and insane stuff for gold. How much gold do you put on this silly belt? - Candy Man
