While this effect is active, your eyes glow fiercely green. This perception penetrates most barriers, but is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.

This item's charge only returns after the ritual version of the detect magic spell has been cast upon it.
