Made by the Guar R&D Corps. This Lightning Gun has a self contained energy unit with 10 charges; must be recharged when depleted.
On use (see Prototype description below), target (within 45ft line of sight) takes damage based on dial setting with a successful attack roll.
There is a dial with 10 settings: Setting 1 uses 1 charge; setting 2 uses 2 charges; etc. If set on a setting higher than the remaining charges, gun will not fire (and Action is used up). Each setting conducts 1d6 Lightning Damage (for example, setting 4 does 4d6 lightning damage).
Prototype: This Lightning Gun has an increasing risk of failure base on dial setting: (Setting 1 = 5%; Setting 2 = 15%; Setting 3 = 25%; Setting 4 = 35%; Setting 5 = 45%; Setting 6 = 55%; Setting 7 = 65%; Setting 8 = 75%; Setting 9 = 85%; Setting 10 = 95%); If the gun fails, user takes damage equal to the setting.
