Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement)

The Time Splitter Sword is a sword long forgotten yet never known. This long heavy blade is very large for it's size, it's often even mistaken as a Greatsword. Inlaid all over the blade are cogs, wheels, and mechanical hands which appear stagnant and firm. When the blade is activated these parts begin to move all over the blade, the hands spinning the cogs and wheels working in tandem with one another and almost make the sword look like a moving clock.

The sword contains 3 charges per long rest. While attuned you gain a +3 to attack rolls and damage

Dreadful Past: As a Bonus Action you expend one charge and you can choose one creature to save in a point in time. For the next minute a colorless like afterimage (only visible to you) of the creature you chose remains even if the creature has moved. You gain advantage to attack the afterimage after it has been created, but once you hit the image it vanishes. Any damage dealt to the afterimage directly affects the creature you created the image of. Effectively attacking their past self.

Blood of the Timeless: As a bonus action you can expend one charge to chose one creature within double your walking speed distance of you to strike. The sword slows down time to a standstill allowing you to reach the creature you chose and make a weapon attack with advantage. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks and does not cost your turn movement. A roll of 19-20 will score a critical hit (this feature is stackable). After you make your attack whether it was a hit or miss you are shunted back to the position or an unoccupied space just prior to the feature activation.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Versatile, Sap
