Ring, rare

This ring has 4 charges, and it regains 1d4 expended charges after a short or long rest. While wearing the ring, you can use a bonus action to expend one of its charges to transform an item you're holding into any Simple or Martial weapon with which you are proficient. The weapon you create will be made of the same material as the object you transform (e.g. Stone, Iron, Wood, Wax) and is considered a magic weapon that grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. This effect can still be used on an object that has already been transformed by the ring.

If you take damage while wielding a weapon created by the ring you must roll a concentration check with advantage in order to maintain the weapon's shape. If your concentration breaks, you're disarmed, or you release the weapon, it instantly converts back to the original object.

If the ring has no remaining charges you can continue to use the effect by expending a number of hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.
