You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic vorpal sword. In addition, the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage.
When you use this weapon to attack a creature that has at least one head and roll a 20 on the attack roll, you cut off one of the creature’s heads. The creature dies if it can’t survive without the lost head. A creature is immune to this effect if it is immune to slashing damage, it doesn’t have or need a head, it has legendary actions, or the DM decides that the creature is too big for its head to be cut off with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 6d8 slashing damage from the hit.
While attuned to Thorn Blight, you have proficiency with greatswords, and you can use your Charisma modifier instead of your Strength modifier for attack and damage rolls made with the weapon.
Dance With Nightshades
You get the ability to produce a 10-ft radius within 60 feet of you as a Bonus Action. The ground becomes lush with Nightshades and Blue Roses with stalking sharp thorny vines that resembles Razorvine that is difficult terrain for enemies. Anyone caught inside takes 1d8 Necrotic damage once per turn when they take damage from other effects. You can shift the radius 30 feet as a Bonus Action. This ability is able to be reused whenever you complete any kind of rest. When a creature comes into direct contact with razorvine for the first time on a turn, the creature must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or take (1d10) slashing damage from the razorvine’s bladelike thorns.
Call Of The Shadowseeds
You dance through the razorvines causing the Nightshades to foster new life. As a reaction when the bladelike thorns does Necrotic damage to an enemy – who is not an Undead or Construct – you can summon a Blighted Sapling. This little fella can immediately attack and then obeys your commands. These last until you summon a new one, until you take a long rest, or until it reaches 0 hit points. You can only use this ability a number of times per day equal to your Proficiency modifier.
Sentience. Thorn Blight is a sentient, chaotic good greatsword with an Intelligence of 14, a Wisdom of 14, and a Charisma of 18. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet. It can speak, read, and understand Common, and its voice sounds silvery and melodic. Thorn Blight craves the destruction of evil Dragons and urges you to seek out these creatures and slay them.
Thorn Blight has a fickle personality. It ends its attunement to you if you miss on attack rolls with the weapon three times in a row. Each time you finish a long rest after that happens, you can attempt to regain the sword’s trust by making a contested Charisma check against Thorn Blight. If you win the contest, your attunement to the weapon is instantly restored. Your attunement to the weapon can’t be restored in any other way.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: (Requires Attunement by a Non-evil Creature), Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
