The wind glider is a gnomish engineering wonder. Fully assembled, it has a wingspan of 15 feet and can carry a medium or large creature of up to 400lbs. When not in use, the wind glider collapses and becomes a small cylinder 8"long and 3"diameter. To assemble, hit the end inscribed with the gnomish rune for open. To disassemble, press the gnomish rune for close located in the middle of the handgrip bar. The wind glider weighs 5lbs and takes 1 action to assemble.
The wind glider requires at least a height of 10' to operate. Once launched, the wind glider has a flying speed of 60' per round and drops 10' per round. For any operation other than straight line flight, the DM sets the DC for either a survival or dexterity check. The more operational experience the user has, the lower the DC. Likewise, the less complicated the maneuver, the lower the DC.
