This device has a small lens made of emerald glass, but otherwise looks like a flashlight with a bright green end cap.

As an action, you can speak this device's command word, and cause it to shed bright light in a 30 ft. cone. Creatures that see objects and creatures illuminated in this cone see them as though affected by the True Seeing spell.

This device has enough energy to use the above property for up to one hour - subtract the amount of time you use this device in minutes, with a minimum of 1 minute being used per use. Once this device burns through its total amount of time, it can be recharged by pressing a cut emerald worth at least 500 gp against its lens, at which point it melds with the device and the device acts as normal.
