A dull blade wrapped with a cloth. It may serve some purpose. Possible a weapon with which someone was killed and now in shame it was covered with cloth so no one sees the strained edge of it. The reason could be anything really. Perhaps its a praised edge that was covered so no common eye can see its beauty. Whatever the reason maybe, it is in itself useless. It doesn't do anything on its own. Give it purpose and lift its covered face from the earth.
