Dragon scale mail is usually made of the scales of one kind of dragon, this being the scales of the dragon deity Tia-mat it has the color of all chromatic dragons. Sometimes dragons collect their cast-off scales and gift them to humanoids. Other times, hunters carefully skin and preserve the hide of a dead dragon. In either case, dragon scale mail is highly valued this set aseptically(This armor can only be obtained once Tia-mat has been defeated).

While wearing this armor, you gain a +2 bonus to AC and a x2 to your dexterity modifiers, you have advantage on saving throws against the Frightful Presence and breath weapons of dragons, and you have resistance to all damage types that a dragon can attack with that is provided by the scales. Fire, Lightning, Acid, Cold.

Additionally, you can focus an-

1.your senses as an action to magically discern the distance and direction to the closest dragon within 30 miles of you. This special action can't be used again until the next dawn.

2. If you are a dragon-born or a half-dragon you can take an action to focus and use one of the elements of damage to attack or defend or for transportation. you can increase the damage of your breath weapon, or imbue it with another element. Make wings of fire that make you impossible to be shot down melting incoming arrows and projectiles, or lightning that will make flying creature fall out of the sky at first contact with your wings(fly speed of 50ft). Acid and make weapons corrode on impact(unless they are magic or silvered).

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
