Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by a requires attunement by a creature that lacks the Mark of Hospitality)

The greatest allies of House Ghallanda earn a place as honorary members of the family. As a token of this bond, the House of Hospitality will sometimes give these friends this piece of home, so that they can always feel at home, no matter where they are. The token can take many forms, usually something with sentimental meaning to the creature it is gifted. Whatever form it takes, the item always prominently bears a brand in the shape of the Dragonmark of Hospitality. Any instances of this item found for sale are sold by a former friend of Ghallanda, stolen from one, or for sale after the death of one such creature.

This item has 7 charges, and regains 1d4 each day at dawn. An attuned creature can expend a number of charges to cast spells. When the last charge is expended, roll a d20. On a 20, the item regains 1 charge. This can happen only once per day.

  • At will (no charges required): Prestidigitation
  • Create Food and Water (1 charge), Galder's Tower (a number of charges equal to the level at which you cast the spell, minimum 3), Unseen Servant (2 charges), Arcane Lock (1 charge)
  • When Create Food and Water is cast through the item, it can only create 24 pounds of food and 16 gallons of water, enough to sustain 8 creatures for 24 hours. However, the food is not bland but rather deliciously flavored as with the Prestidigitation spell.
  • A creature that can see invisible objects sees the servant created by this item’s Unseen Servant spell as a featureless halfling bearing the Dragonmark of Hospitality.
  • The Arcane Lock produced by this item is dispelled if the item is ever more than 1 mile from the lock.

Notes: requires attunement by a creature that lacks the Mark of Hospitality
