Zarsin's hat is a muffin cap, and a gaudy and well-worn one at that. It is a kaleidoscope of fabrics each a different color and texture. It's clearly been patched a dozen times or more over the years, and the feather in its' brim is a bit ragged. However, it has been imbued with very powerful magics.
The hat cannot be destroyed except by spells of 9th level or higher, and any repairs any damage done to itself within 1d4 rounds. It always returns to its' current, worn state.
It will return to the owner by magical means after one hour of leaving their possession, provided they are on the same plane and that it is not prevented from doing so by magical means. If it is prevented from doing so, it will return to the owner 1 minute after the effect(s) preventing it ends. This effect is transferred to the new owner if the hat is discarded or given away willingly.
The hat conveys no benefits, magical or otherwise, to the wearer, except an obvious sense of style.
"What? It's a good hat, and I finally got it broken in how I like it!" - Zarsin Goldwing
Notes: discarded or gifted by the previous owner, and worn for 24 hours straight.
