Weapon (glaive), artifact (requires attunement)

Forged in the waning years when elves questioned their mortality, this long Scythe has a hilt crafted of onyx stone, infused with adamantine. This scythe was crafted by a dying order of Death Monks from the Farcrest Mountains, and from one end dangles a small talisman of a crow’s skull, gilded in silver. From the other end, it’s 3 foot long hooked blade shines with rippling forged adamantine. One of the three legendary Items of Satro, Lady Death, along with Satrodun’s Eye and The Lady’s Glass. Some worshipers of Satro believe that if all three artifacts are ever in the same place, it will be an omen of the end of this Middle Earth and a heralding of the next age.

While attuned to this Magic Weapon, you gain a +2 to attack and damage rolls, and do an additional 1d8 necrotic damage on each hit.

You also gain the following benefits:

  • You are resistant to Necrotic damage
  • You age at a slower rate, half of the speed you normally would.
  • You may use an action to cast the slow spell. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell. After you cast the spell, roll a d6. On a 1-4, you can’t cast this spell again until the next midnight has passed.
  • When a creature within 10 feet of scores a critical hit against one of your allies, you can use your reaction to roll a d6. On a 5 or 6, the critical hit is cancelled and becomes a normal hit.

Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
