This magical hide counts as a breastplate +1 and is fashioned to be worn over the upper body. It can appear as a cloak, vest, cape, poncho or similar piece of clothing but always retains its appearance as a wolf's pelt. When attuned you gain the animal senses and reflexes of a hunter:

• This item increases your dexterity score to 14 unless your dexterity is already higher.
• You have advantage on skill checks involving scent.
• You may sleep in this armour with no ill effects.

Using this armour over time rapidly gives the wearer a more shaggy, hirsute appearance and slightly elongated incisors. You appear as a carrier of werewolf lycanthropy to those that can detect it, magically or otherwise.

 

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
