This experimental weapon was created by a mad Lamordian scientist as a weapon for hunting Yetis. Originally a slashing weapon, the blade has been replaced with a blunt hammer head and has had several magical and technological modifications made to it. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with this weapon, which deals bludgeoning damage instead of slashing damage. Additionally, this weapon has 5 charges. When you make an attack roll with this weapon, you may expend one or two charges before you roll. If the attack hits, you may choose one of the following effects for one charge or both effects for two charges:
- The target takes an additional 1d8 thunder damage and is pushed back 15 feet.
- The target takes an additional 2d4 lightning damage and it can't take reactions until the end of its next turn.
The weapon regains 1d4 charges daily at dawn. If you take lightning damage while holding the weapon, it regains one charge for every 5 lightning damage you take (minimum of one charge). This may allow you to go over 5 charges. After one hour, these extra charges dissipate.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Replace Damage Type: Bludgeoning, Damage: Lightning, Damage: Thunder, Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Graze
