Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement by a Requires attunement by ranger, druid, wizard, bard, warlock or sorcerer)

This sword is made entirely of smooth ashwood that goes to a sharp point at it's tip. The handle seems to be formed from two thick tree roots that are interwoven in a spiraling pattern. A cluster of leaves sprouts from the hilt and regrows within one day if torn off.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When held in its sword from, small luminescent orbs hover around it, shedding dim light within a radius of 5 feet.

As a bonus action, you can cause the sword to retract. It breaks up into a web of roots that wrap around your hand and forearm. While in this form, it can be used as a spellcasting focus for your Ranger, Druid, Wizard, Bard, Warlock and Sorcerer spells. The roots cannot be removed from your arm, and your hand is considered free for the purposes of holding, using and interacting with other objects. You can use a bonus action to cause the blade to reform in your hand. When you do so, soil within 10 feet suddenly sprouts short grass and exotic flowers.

While attuned to the sword, You have advantage on charisma checks against plants and vegetation. 

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
