Armor (chain shirt), legendary
You have a +3 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.
Made of interlocking metal rings, a chain shirt is worn between layers of clothing or leather. This armor offers modest protection to the wearer's upper body and allows the sound of the rings rubbing against one another to be muffled by outer layers.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Combat, Warding
Different armors are very awkward in D&D 5e. I feel like the Chain Shirt appeals to nobody. The only thing it has going for it is that it's less expensive than a Breastplate, which has 1 more AC. Consider that this +3 legendary item is giving you the same AC as Plate would effectively. If you have Mithral Plate armor, then what is the difference besides needing a STR score of 15 to avoid MS penalty? So very underwhelming for a STR based fighter, but a DEX based fighter would get more out of Studded Leather as long as it's at least +2 and they have 18 or more DEX. Very specific niche
