A sword created by a blacksmith with greater ambitions then he could ever hope to achieve. This weapon is unable to be wielded by the ordinary and was made to slay great and legendary beasts such as dragons and elder giants. Its weight and size allow it to equate a large area with large amounts of force and a rather long range. Wielded by those born into the world raised to use large weapons, this massive unsightly hunk of metal does not slash but smashes and cleaves through its wielder's enemies with its edges blunted from years of unused time. Deals 5d8 Bludgeoning damage. Lowers the user's movement by 10 feet. Grants a bonus of +5 to intimidation, +4 to hit against giants and +6 to hit against dragons. Instills a heavy disadvantage to sneaking at a -5 to stealth.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
