This carefully constructed automaton was constructed in the image of a Phoenix. When you speak the command word, small illusory flames spring to life within its empty eye sockets and the gears begin to turn, causing the small mechanical bird to fly around the speaker in circles and occasionally perch on their shoulder.  This effect end if the distance between the toy and its owner is 25 feet or greater.

Inscribed on one wing of this bird is the ornate depiction of a tiny smoldering Phoenix egg, a signature left there by the toy's designer.
