Black leather wraps around the hilt of the sword; winding its way through the skull infused filigree. Two miniature daggers criss-cross over the impression of a skull, protecting the wielders hand. With a push of a small, well hidden button, a thick, viscous black poison seeps from tiny perforations along the center of the blade, coating the entire slightly twisted blade with deadly concoction.
Known as the "Oil of Tears," this black poison has a greenish tint. It is created by taking the larvae of the Greater Horned Moth, and slowly melting the small worms down until just a black ooze remains. The poison acts in two ways. First, anyone injured with a weapon or object coated in this poison will experience searing pain. Victims must succeed on a DC 16 Con save to withstand the pain and continue fighting or moving. Failed rolls result in extreme pain, convulsions, and random paralysis. Should the injured party withstand the initial affects of the poison, the Oil of Tears slowly travels through the blood stream turning the blood black. Within 5 or 6 hours the victim will begin to cry black tears. These tears are painless but unending. Over the course of time, the tainted blood poisons the victim from the inside out. The victim dies from the decay of its organs or from bleeding out, which ever occurs first. A D12 will determine how long the victim has until the poison takes full effect.
A proficient wielder will receive +7 and deal 1d6 piercing damage and 3d8 poison damage

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
