Thirst is a rapier with a smooth black leather grip beneath an open charcoal dark hilt basket. It's blade very distinctive in that it appears to be made of a white porous material that nevertheless feels and acts as steel.
If Thirst successfully strikes an opponent that is corporeal and has discernible blood and the damage dealt reduces the target to 0 hit points, the weapon 'drinks' from the victim visibly coating the blade in a shimmering sheath of the blood taken. This grants an addition +1d4 damage to from the weapon to all attacks for the next hour.
A critical hit will also allow it to drink, gaining the bonus damage for the hour.
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
