You gain a 1d4 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with the Yamato. In addition, you can make one attack with it as a bonus action on each of your turns.
Additionally, you may attack with the sheathe on for (non-fatal)1d6 bludgeoning damage and 30ft knockback by expending a bonus action. Yamato will stay in this state until the sheathe is removed via action or bonus action.
Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
