This magical hat is the height of fashion for Tinkerers and Artificers. If the wearer is either an Artificer or proficient with the Tinkerer’s Tool Kit It will size itself to fit the wearer and the following properties will be available: (Otherwise its just a fashionable hat) No attunement is required since the Topper is already limited in who can use it.

• You can use the hat as a spellcasting focus for your Artificer spells.
• you gain a +1 to CHA checks

• Monocle of vision: can be pulled down over an eye and grants darkvision 30’, as well as advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) checks that rely on sight while searching an area or studying an object within 1 foot. the monocle rotates slightly to toggle between the two.

• Gear of Time past:  While wearing the Gear of Time Past, you can teleport up to 15 feet as a BA (bonus action) to an unoccupied space you can both see and have occupied at some point during the current turn (like Boots of the Winding Path). The Gear will visibly rotate in a staggered pattern while worn.
