An ancient blade once wielded by a god of liberation. The Sword of the Creator was forged using the bones of a slain deity. After the liberation god's eventual demise, the sword was lost for 1,000 years. Only those whose blood flows with the power of these deities possess the strength to wield this weapon.
Ancestral Improvement:
Ancestral items gain additional abilities as the wielder attuned to them levels up.
Until level 3, the Sword of the Creator functions as a normal sword. Use the longsword stat block to determine its weapon statistics.
Segmented Whip. At level 3, the sword gains the finesse and reach properties as the blade can now break apart into a longer segmented whip.
Additionally, damage from this weapon is considered to be magical.
Charged Power. At level 7, the sword has 20 charges. After hitting a target, the wielder can expend 1 charge to deal 1d4 additional damage with this weapon. If the weapon has not dealt damage since the last dawn, the sword regains 5 Charges at the next dawn.
Ruptured Heaven. At level 10, as a bonus action, a dead god's power can temporarily awake within the blade. Until the end of the wielder's turn, weapon attacks made with the Sword of the Creator crit on a 15-20. During this time, dragons are also considered vulnerable to this weapon's damage. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until the next dawn.
Rend Heaven. At level 15, the sword's aura darkens, stealing the magic of those struck by its blade. When damaging a target with this weapon, the sword can steal a 1st level spell slot from the target and restore it to the wielder (if applicable).
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
