This device has 3 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast the magic missile spell from it. For 1 charge, you cast the 3rd-level version of the spell. If you use all the missiles of 1 charge on a single target, every creature within 5 feet must make a DC 15 Dexterity Saving Throw or take half of the total damage.
