Zortzi is a fist sized polished orb made of an unknown type of green stone. At the pole of the dome are two small, round emeralds that protrude slightly from the orb. They are positioned next to each other, making it look like the number eight, or an infinity symbol. Flecks of gold spread out from where the emeralds meet the stone.
Once attuned, only the wielder can see Zortzi. The orb is invisible to all others, and is resistant to magic detection. Zortzi can communicate with the wielder telepathically, and is also resistant to psionic detection. When the attuned wielder asks a yes or no question about a situation that would require a dice roll (combat, saving throw, skill check...), Zortzi telepathically responds with one of the response below. The response warps the fate of the wielder, and attempts to influence the outcome. When activated, and before they roll for the situations outcome, roll a d20 to determine Zortzi's response.
