Wand, rare (requires attunement by a player with Evil or Chaotic alignment)

This black locust wand contains 3 charges, and it regains all expended charges at the end of a long rest. You can use your action to expend a number of charges from the wand, which causes a creature you can see within 60 feet of you to hear phantom voices.

  • 1 Charge: Wicked Whispers. The target must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target is deafened until the end of your next turn.
  • 2 Charges: Malicious Murmurs. The target must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the target is frightened until the end of your next turn. If the target saw you use the wand, you are the source of its fear. Otherwise, a random creature the target can see becomes the source of its fear.
  • 3 Charges: Sinister Susurrations. The target must make a DC 18 Intelligence saving throw. On a failure, the target is stunned until the end of your next turn.

If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand crumbles to dust and is destroyed.
