Weapon (sickle), legendary (requires attunement by a Droplet of User's blood)

The blade of the sickle is serrated and jagged, it curves in a crescent shape and the handle is wrapped in rough sandy leather.

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Hit Points lost to this weapon’s damage can be regained only through a short or Long Rest, rather than by regeneration, magic, or any other means.

Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an Attack using this Magic Weapon, you can wound the target. At the start of each of the wounded creature’s turns, it takes 1d4 necrotic damage for each time you’ve wounded it, and it can then make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, Ending the Effect of all such wounds on itself on a success. Alternatively, the wounded creature, or a creature within 5 feet of it, can use an Action to make a DC 15 Wisdom (Medicine) check, Ending the Effect of such wounds on it on a success.

When duel wielding this weapon, the weapon shifts from one hand to the other. Allowing both attacks to be made from this weapon. 

When you take damage, you can spend a reaction to throw your sickle at any creature within 30ft you can see. This attack does 2 times the damage you received, the target has to beat a DC your level + your proficiency bonus DEX save. On a success they take half the damage. If this attack kills the creature, the extra damage dealt over the creature's hit points will be given to you as temporary hit points. This feature has 5 charges, you regain all charges during a short rest or long rest.

When you hit a creature that has 1 or more creatures that are nonfriendly to you within a 10ft radius, you can apply half the damage dealt to the creature to all nonfriendly creature within that range.

 

Proficiency with a Sickle allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
