Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement by a Requires Attunement by a non-evil character)

Originally a standard Fiendslayer, this sword was wielded by a Yuan-ti warrior as he slew the Archdevil Zariel. As her blood coated the blade, her power seeped into it and changed it into a weapon of great power. Fiends tremble at the sight of it, and Celestials and holy warriors will respect anyone who wields it.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

When you hit a Fiend with this weapon, the Fiend takes an extra 3d6 points of slashing damage. For the purpose of this weapon, "fiend" refers to any creature with the fiend type, including Night Hags and Rakshasas.

Additionally, you have advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks against Celestials and Charisma (Intimidation) checks against Friends while attuned to this weapon.

This weapon contains 5 Charges, which regenerate daily at dawn. These charges can be spent to cast spells from the attached spell list: Detect Evil and Good(1 Charge), Fireball(2 Charges), Dispel Evil and Good(3 Charges). For spells requiring a saving throw, the DC equals 8+Your Charisma Modifier+Your Proficiency Bonus. You could instead use your own spellcasting DC, if you have one.

Furthermore, when you hit a creature with this weapon, you may expend 1 Charge to deal an additional 2D8 Radiant Damage to the creature. If the creature is a Fiend, they must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become Frightened of you. They may repeat this save at the beginning of each of their turns, ending this effect on a success.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
