When you damage a creature with an attack using this magic spear, the target can’t regain hit points until the start of your next turn.
Any hit points the target loses as damage from the attack can be transferred to you or to a creature you can see within 60 ft.
When you hit an undead creature with an attack using this weapon, the attack deals an extra 1d8 damage of the weapon’s type, and the creature has disadvantage on saving throws against effects that turn undead until the start of your next turn.
