Once a day a creature can present this hefty brass timepiece at which point a small flame flickers to life on each of the 12 points. The creature then engages in a wisdom contest with the target. If the creature holding the timepiece wins, only the targets is frozen in time for 1 round. If the target win the contest, both creatures are frozen for a round.

While item is active, frozen creatures cannot be harmed by any creature other than the other in the duel.
