You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
When you hit a worm with this magic weapon, the worm must succeed on a CON. saving throw (DC 16) or take an additional 10d12 percing damage. For the purposes of this weapon, a worm is whatever the DM decides is a worm.
Many adventurers and heroes have mistakenly assumed that the “o” in wormslayer is a typo, and that it meant to say Wyrmslayer. Those adventurers have paid the price. This is simply just a rake that is really good at killing worms.
Proficiency with a Trident allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Additional, Damage, Combat, Thrown, Versatile, Topple
LOL
That was a good one. You had me for a second there.
That being said, this would be overpowered against purple worms.
I mean, if the DM decides a purple worm isn’t a worm, and is instead a giant eyeless snake, then it wouldn’t be very good against them either! :)
