Winnower, the former weapon of the Nezrebi, an Exarch of Yeenoghu. A powerful weapon of a hunter, the weapon forms and melds to match its chosen wielders true potential. In your hands, it has chosen the form of a shortbow.

Winnower is a +3 Shortbow that enhance the user with the following properties:

  • The user gains advantage on survival and perception checks.
  • The user can choose to make any successful attack with the weapon a critical hit. Once used this effect is used it cannot be used again until after dawn.
  • The user can cast an additional hunters mark per long rest.
    • The user gains an addition 1d6 piercing damage to targets effected by hunters mark.

Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
