An inscription around the neck of this rod read, "Keepers of Order".
This 3ft long mechanical metal rod can be used as a mace or it can expand into a long pole. The rod has 10 charges. Once all charges are spent this weapon becomes a mundane mace until charges are restored. In order to restore 10 charges to this weapon you must use a small charged nexus crystal that is consumed when used.
This small rod becomes electrified with the flip of a switch. When you hit with an attack while this weapon is activated in this way you may spend 1 charge to deal 1d4 lightning damage to a target. In addition, the target must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or become stunned until the start of it's next turn.
Alternatively, this rod can become a 10-foot pole, you can use an action and spend 1 charge to cause the rod to convert into a 10ft long pole; however, the rod will elongate only as far as the surrounding space allows. The pole's weight doesn't change.
