This strange box shaped device made of silver and dark oak with three obsidian lenses facing out of one side. On an adjacent side of the box is a series of buttons made of polished wood marked with common commands. Opening the box reveals clockwork, a small dish, and a hexagonal mirror.

 Once attuned to the box, the user may set precious stones (with a minimum value of 1gp) in the boxes dish and press one of the buttons on the side to activate. Once started the box will begin to record whatever is in front of its lenses. Saving all the sights and sounds in the gemstones placed in the tray

The recording time depends on the value of the stone placed inside. Where the box can record 10 minutes for every 1gp the stone is valued at.

After the recording is finished the stone can be placed either back into the tray or near any light source that emits bright light to play back whatever was recorded on a flat surface. With the picture matching the size of the surface up to a 45ft by 30ft rectangle. The stone also repeats all the sounds it heard at a similar volume it hear them. The stones volume can be dampened my wrapping it in cloth or raised by placing it on a metal dish or tray.

The recording is lost if the stone is destroyed, taken into an area where magic is negated, or recorded over by a different recording. 

The box makes a ticking sound every minute it records but this ticking is never recorded. 

The box can be moved during recording and a gemstone can record multiple scenes as long as it isn't taken out before they are all recorded within its time limit.
