Weapon (club), rare (requires attunement by a a individual)

A dark, heavy metal baton, this weapon's weight seems to shift as it is swung, lending more heft to the swing without having to use one's strength.

This item is a +1 magical weapon with the finesse property

When attacking with this weapon, you can choose one of the following options.  You must declare which option you are taking before you make the attack.  The DC for effects that use it is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your DEX modifier:

- Stunning Strike: if you make a successful attack with this weapon, you can forgo the damage and force the target to make a save vs. the Nightstick's DC.  On a failure, the target is stunned for 1d4-1 rounds.  This effect can only be used on a creature that is not already stunned.

- Disarming Strike: If you make a successful attack on a creature, you can attempt to force them to drop their weapon.  If the target has natural weapons, you can attempt to sunder them.  You force the creature to make a DEX or CON saving throw.  On a failure, they must drop their weapon, which they can use a bonus action to pick up.  If you sundered natural weapons, the creature begins taking a cumulative penalty to their damage bonus and then their attack bonus.

- Parry:  as a reaction, while wielding a shield, you can attempt to reduce one melee weapon's attack by 1d6 (this may increase over time)

Proficiency with a Club allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
