While holding this shield, you have a +3 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC. This shield has 7 charges.

Thunderwave (Base 1 Charges): While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast the thunderwave spell (save DC 15) from it. For 1 charge, you cast the 1st-level version of the spell. You can increase the spell slot level by one for each additional charge you expend.

Lighting Bolt (Base 2 Charges): While holding it, you can use an action to expend 2 or more of its charges to cast the lightning bolt spell (save DC 15) from it. For 1 charge, you cast the 3rd-level version of the spell. You can increase the spell slot level by one for each additional charge you expend.

The shield regains 1d6 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the shield's last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the shield explodes any creatures within a 15ft radius takes 1d12 thunder damage and 1d12 lighting damage.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
