Weapon (dagger), legendary (requires attunement)

This silver dagger is etched with heiroglyphs of halfling heroism: A halfling slaying a titanic elemental vampire that seems to be at one with the land, a halfling flying among birds with a handmade glider, and a halfling making a shish-kebab out of a giant crab and roasting it over an active volcano.

When you damage a creature with an attack using this +1 dagger, the target can’t regain hit points until the start of your next turn.

In addition: if you would bring a hostile creature to 1 or 2 hitpoints on your turn, you may use your reaction to immediately make an additional melee or thrown attack with this dagger. The additional attack may only target the triggering creature.

Further: if you fatally wound a hostile creature already at 1 or 2 HP with the dagger, gold coins equal to the difference erupt from their midsection in a gory display of wealth.
For example: Sombra the rogue deals 59 damage to a goblin at 2 HP. Sombra then loots 57 GP from the ruined carcass.
This ability can only be used once per Long Rest.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Finesse, Light, Thrown, Nick
