Weapon (longbow), rare (requires attunement by a Attaching an animal trophy or piece of yourself to the handle)

As you grasp this strange handle you've found; its true purpose is revealed, two glowing ethereal limbs extend out as an arcane string is woven between them - it's a bow.

Charges. The bow has six charges and regains 1d6 at dawn each day. By expending one charge the user is able to infuse arcane energy into their projectile, adding (1d8) extra Cold, lightning, or fire damage to the arrow.

Enhanced weapon. If the user of this item encounters a black diamond worth at least 5000 gp, they will notice a slot somewhere on the handle of the bow which seems suited to the size and shape of the black diamond. If they choose to feed the gem to the weapon it evolves.

Enhanced Charges. The bow now has 8 charges and regains 1d8 at dusk each night. By expending one charge the user is able to infuse arcane energy into their projectile, adding (2d8) extra Cold, lightning, or fire damage to the arrow. By expending 2 charges the user is able to infuse arcane energy into their projectile, adding (2d12) extra necrotic damage.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
