A rather unassuming book, this tome is bound by black leather with a question mark sewn of silver cloth adorning the front. This book of blank pages allows for its user to copy spells that they see into it. The tome may only hold three of these spells at a time and these spells  cannot be higher level then the user can cast themselves. When the user wants to atone a new spell they must take a short rest within 10 minutes of witnessing its casting and they must know the name of the spell. If a spell is attuned while the book has three spells copied into it already the oldest spell is replaced. To cast spells the book must be open in one of users hands. Equipping requires an action. These spells may be cast once per day each and do not require spell slots. This item cannot be turned into a spell focus.
