Weapon (greatsword), artifact (requires attunement)

In its sealed form, the sword usually takes the appearance of a harmless hexagonal wooden staff, which can be used like a spear. At any time, the wielder can remove this disguise by peeling off the wood, revealing its true form of a regular (and rather battered looking) chokuto, an ancient shrine sword, most notable for its shitogi tsuba. This design was indicative of how old the sword itself was.

Drenched in holy water and inscribed with blessed runics. The blade glows as an after effect.
The simple black sheath is reinforced and has a pointed end, allowing it to be used as a weapon.
The hilt is wrapped with black cord and silver reworked as filigree down its length.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
