A 7ft. long fishing rod. The line has been swapped out for a stronger paracord like line. The reel has been enchanted to make it easier to reel things in. On the end of the rod in place of a lure and bobber is a gigantic HOOKED BOWIE KNIFE. The rod is reinforced mimicking a spear and may use the stat block if used as such. This weapon can be used at range, a minimum of 10ft. up to 25ft. The user of this weapon makes a normal attack with the Morningstar stat block. On a successful hit, the creature needs to make a CON saving throw, on a fail the user has disadvantage on all DEX saves as well as its movement speed halved, until the end of its turn. The affected creature make use a bonus action and make a STR save that beats the characters STR to remove the HOOKED BOWIE KNIFE and take no disadvantage. At the start of the players turn, if the HOOKED BOWIE KNIFE is still impaling an enemy. They may roll half damage for free, use a bonus action to retract the HOOKED BOWIE KNIFE, and attack again.

Proficiency with a Morningstar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
