Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by a Optional Attunement)

This small stone shares its visage with the moon. White and smooth to the touch, it emanates moonlight, and glows gently, casting dim light (specifically moonlight) in a 5ft radius. When placed on a flat surface, it begins to hover gently, and casts moonlight (Dim light) within 100ft. It hovers 1 foot off the ground and cannot support any weight other than its own. Touching the Moon Stone (Or contacting it with an object) causes it to gently float back to the ground.

Any Were-beast within a 5ft radius or within contact of the moon will be forcibly transformed into their Hybrid or Animal form (Whichever the character would prefer, or randomly if neither are preferred). This also applies to any were-beast that is bathed in the moonlight. At the DMs discretion, creature can avoid this transformation by succeeding a constitution save of 16.

(When Attuned) A creature may attune to the Stone of the Moon by spending an hour in the dim light. When attuned, it has these additional Abilities:

A creature can hold the stone and change the phase of the Stone of the Moon (as an action). The attuned creature will have the properties of the moon phase chosen until un-attuned or the phase is once again changed by the caster.

Were-beasts also gain these abilities:
- You can change between Humanoid, Hybrid, and Animal forms at will, and are immune to effects that would force or prevent transformation (Including moonlight cast from the stone)
- You can assign 1 point to 2 core stats, or 2 points 1 core stat. You only gain this bonus when in Hybrid or Animal forms. (ex. 1 point to strength and dexterity or 2 points to intelligence. etc.)
- When in Humanoid form, you gain debuffs of the chosen statuses above equal to -2 per point.

Example:
Lindred, an adventurer suffering from lycanthropy, attunes to the Stone of the Moon
He chooses Intelligence and Wisdom as his altered status. His default Wisdom is 13, and his Intelligence is 14. After attunement, his new stats are:
Hybrid/Animal forms: 14 wisdom and 15 intelligence. (+1, +1)
Humanoid form: 11 wisdom and 12 intelligence.  (-2, -2)

If Lindred only chose Wisdom (which his default is 13) his stats would follow the same rules.
Hybrid/Animal forms: 15 wisdom (+2)
Humanoid form: 9 wisdom (-4)

Optional Rules:
Werecurse: Attunement to the Stone of the Moon can corrupt. Eventually a character will lose sight of who they once were, and choose to be who they Were (hehe). If a character remains attuned to the stone for an extended period of time, they can no longer switch to their humanoid form, and are stuck as a Hybrid/Animal.

Difficult Fit: Normal armor doesn't fit us werefolk. Armor has to be brought to an armorer to be custom fit to the werecreature. For a fee of course.
