Yggdrasil's Battle Axes, 6d6+5 Slashing damage. These two battle axes were crafted by the gods, using materials and energy from Yggdrasil itself. Both of them have magical energy from Yggdrasil coursing within them, which causes them to sometimes overwhelm the user or the enemy, causing this. Fifty-Fifty Split. If the user gets a natural 20, or an AC roll of 30 or higher, they instantly kill the target they were attacking if they are a medium target or smaller. The wielder slices down the middle of the target with both of the axes, using the force and energy from the blades to completely split the enemy in half. However, if the user gets a natural 1 on an AC roll, they take 3d8 damage as the energy of the axes snaps against them. Once attuned, the user has access to these spells. God's Thunder, 4d8 lightning damage. The wielder gathers energy from the axes and flings it from the blades as electrical blades that slice through up to 3 targets, or they stack on 1 target. Yggdrasil's Flash. The wielder can use energy from the axes to teleport themselves behind one target in a 100 ft radius of themselves. Yggdrasil's Chains. If you throw the axes, you can summon chains from the handles and pull the axes back to yourself. You can also use the chains to grapple a medium sized target or smaller, or use them as a bonus action attack, dealing 2d8.
Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
