A small wooden top (similar to a dreidel in shape) with the painted symbols depicting the four elements in vaguely fey styles with the names of each under them in Sylvan. The top has six charges. As an action, you can spin the top on a flat surface you physically reach. Roll a d4 and see which of these effects takes place.

  1. Earth. The spinner expends a charge and casts Max’s Earthen Grasp without any material components or spell slots, on a creature other than the user within 20 ft of where the top landed. If there is no one close enough, the spell ends on the user’s next turn. After 30 seconds (5 rounds), the spell ends and you can use the top again.
  2. Air. The spinner expends a charge and casts Levitate on a creature other than the user within 20 ft of where the top landed. The save for this spell is 16. At the start of your turn, the creature affected by the spell is lifted up another 20 ft until it is against the ceiling. The spell lasts for one minute, and when it ends, the creature does float back down but rather falls.
  3. Water. The spinner expends a charge and casts Tidal Wave on a 20x20ft square centered on the top. All the normal spell rules apply, except that the user has advantage on the save against the spell.
  4. Fire. The spinner expends a charge and casts Scorching Ray as a 3rd lvl spell on four random creatures other than the user within spell range of where the top landed.
