You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. This weapon deals 1d4 additional cold damage on a successful hit.
After attuning to this weapon, your maximum hit points are decreased by 5. As long as you are attuned to this weapon, this decrease cannot be removed.
Attunement to this weapon grants the following benefits:
- You gain resistance to cold damage, and you are unaffected by difficult terrain caused by snow and ice.
- Once per day as an action, you can activate the runes on this weapon to remove a creature's resistance to cold damage or to change a creature's immunity to cold damage to resistance to cold damage. This change lasts for one minute, or until you are incapacitated. This ability resets every dawn.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
