A silver-green leaf with a black rim, Thistledown leaves are exceedingly rare and have thus far not been found to grow indigenously in any region, but will grow in nearly any environment. A hardy plant, it is said to only bloom for those that have found a god's favor. Thistledown is a creeping, vine-like plant that seems to resist, almost actively, being altered in any way. Those that have attempted to take cuttings from the vines have found their implements blunted from the effort. With the plant being as durable as it is, it is unknown how individuals manage to attain a leaf, or if they are lucky enough to happen across a naturally fallen one, but those that do are able to make use of their powerful magical abilities, namely amplification of whatever magic it is used in concert with.
Notes: There are three known possible uses of a Thistledown Leaf: Ingestion: Any poison, disease, or magical effect is nullified by the person ingesting the leaf Amplify Spell: A creature that casts a spell while a Thistledown Leaf is under their tongue increases the DC of that spell by three (3) and always does max damage/healing if the spell is successful. The leaf dissolves after two rounds. Protection: A creature can draw a shape no larger the 30 square feet with a Thistledown Leaf. Creatures within that shape are immune to Necrotic and Radiant damage as long as they remain entirely within the confines of the shape. Additionally, all creatures within the shape cannot be seen by any means by those wishing them harm and those that wish them harm cannot cross the line created by the leaf. The shape drawn by the leaf lasts for eight (8) hours and the leaf crumbles to nothing upon completion of the shape
